TORTORICI, Giovanni - With sadness, we announce the passing of Giovanni on June 24, 2021 at home at the age of 85.
Loving husband of Loreta.
Cherished father of Cesare (Flutilde Danos), Francesca (Alfonso D’Angelo), Rosanna, and Pasquale (Annamaria).
Proud nonno of Sofia, Benjamin, Dario, Amanda, Gabriel, Matteo, Isabella, Marco, Nicholas and Giovanni.
Forever remembered by his surviving sister Giuseppina Scalia and Nieces and Nephews abroad in Ontario (Canada), USA (California) and Lazio (Italy).
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend visitation however due to COVID-19 restrictions in place will need to reserve a time to visit.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Similar to visitation protocols, guests wishing to attend the funeral mass will need to RSVP a spot in the church and are invited to go directly to St. Charles Borromeo on Wednesday morning. A private entombment will follow.
