Livins ArtLIVINS, Arthur 'Art' - We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Art Livins on June 29, 2021.

Leaving behind his beloved wife, Glenis and daughter Viktorija (Rob). Always loved and remembered by his grandchildren Malcolm and Rowan, brother Ivar (Lyla) and niece Katherine.

Born in 1950 to Archie & Vera in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom.

Art emigrated to Canada with his parents and brother in 1954.

He will be remembered by many former colleagues and friends from North American Life Insurance.

He also owned a company named CSI Canadian Specialties Inc. which he ran with his wife Glenis from 1990 until his retirement in 2015. Art had a phenomenal memory and attention to detail which served him well in his over 40 year career in sales.

Art’s personal success in life was measured by his 50 year marriage to the love of his life, Glenis who was always by his side. He had an appreciation for frugality but was also incredibly generous towards his friends and family. He was well known to give away free promotional pens to almost everyone he met, even after he had retired.

Art was a great piano player who loved to cook and was always willing to play a game of cards. He loved classic westerns and was a lifelong fan of the Doors, playing their records often over the years. His memories will always live and stay in our hearts forever.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family memorial will take place at a later date.

In memory of Art, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated.
