PECORA, Emma - Emma Pecora, 93, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was born on June 11, 1928 in Borgo Partenope, Cosenza, Italy to Olindo and Rosina Bonofiglio. She emigrated to Canada in 1953 and settled in Toronto, Ontario. Emma was an ardent believer and attended St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church regularly. She worked very hard and was dedicated to her family.
Emma is predeceased and reunited with her beloved husband Vittorio. She is survived by her three loving children, Cosma (Benedetta), Adriana Lettieri (Louis) and Damiano (Loretta).
She will be missed by her six grandchildren, Salvatore, Michael, Emma Marie, Katrina, Loredana and Victor and ten very special great-grandchildren, Louis, Francesco, Sienna, Matteo, Gabriella, Gianpaolo, George, Mila, Alana and Giulia as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her sisters, Giuseppina and Maria. Emma is also preceded by her sister, Assunta and brothers Francesco, Ippolito and Antonio.
Donations in memory of Emma may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
