McQuaid MichaelMcQUAID, Michael Peter - (January 8, 1955 – July 2, 2021)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our Jack of all Trades - Master of Many, passed away with family by his side at Kingston General Hospital, in his 66th year, after a short, courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Leanne, who cared for him until the end, his children Caitlin, Cameron (Alicia), Alison (Francis), the apple of his eye his grandson River, his two dogs Stevie and Dallee, and sisters Carol, Teresa, and Florence, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Youngest of seven and born in Charlottetown, PEI, he grew up in Cabbagetown, Toronto.

Michael was an athlete, avid learner, hard worker, tinkerer, and first and foremost a family man and friend. He was a protector and provider who was always polite, popular and positive and loved to dance. They built their dream house by the lake where Michael loved to drive his boat, play cards, and putter around fixing things.

A respected, generous and gentle man, loved by all who knew him, Michael leaves his family and friends with many wonderful memories and was a true example of how to be gracious and kind to the end.

Thank you to the staff at KGH for their care.

We will love him and miss him forever.

Visitation to be held at Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee, on Wednesday, July 7th from 2-6 p.m. Please RSVP online or call to book a time, or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
