Hellmuth HansHELLMUTH, Hans Dieter - After a long and fulfilling life, Hans left this world on July 2, 2021 with family by his side.

Hans leaves behind the love of his life, Gisela Marianne (Gnam), son Fred (Margaret), daughter Christina (Mike) and grand-daughters Danielle, Mikaela, Aliana, Ariel and Natalie.

He will also be missed by sister Gerda Eberhardt, brother-in-law Karl Baust and his nieces and nephews.

Hans came to Canada in 1957 after proposing to his sweetheart in Germany. Six months later, he arranged for Gisela to fly to Canada where they were married shortly after she arrived. Throughout the early years of their married life, Hans worked three jobs to establish his family. They lived in Toronto, Weston and Downsview before moving to Norval where they established “Double H Rabbit Ranch”. Farming was hard work but there was always time for get-togethers with cherished friends.

Hans will be remembered for his infectious sense of humour, being the self-appointed family videographer/photographer, and valuing family above all else. He will be dearly missed.

The family would like to thank the Complex Medicine Unit at William Osler Hospital - Peel Memorial site for their exceptional care of Hans during the final year of his life.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 12 at Brampton Funeral Home.

Donations in memory of Hans can be made to William Osler Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
