Marlene met the love of her life Allen Smith in December 1953 and the two were married October 6, 1956 enjoying almost 65 years of marriage. Together they established a home in Brampton and raised a family.

As per Marlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at St. Peter’s Church Erindale on Thursday July 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. followed by internment in the church cemetery. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the church and cemetery will be limited. A live stream of the service will be available. Please contact the family should you wish to attend the service. Updates will be posted on the website of Andrews funeral home, Brampton.
