SCHREIBER, Yona - It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Yona Schreiber who left to meet her beloved husband, Simon, on July 5, 2021.
She leaves behind her three wonderful children Eddie [Esther], Fina, Renee [Moshe], 11 grandchildren Lia, Doron, Sarit, Danya, Kira, Shira, Meira, Atara, Jaycie, Nosson, Yosef, and eight great grandchildren Anastasia, Avital, Abby, Aaron, Dana, Nicolas, Natalia, Maya, and her legacy continues.
She leaves a loving extended family in Israel and long time friends.
Yona was a beautiful, strong, spirited woman who spent her life working hard for her children. She was a devoted nurses aid at Baycrest until she retired with honours. She met the love of her life in Israel and with two of her children immigrated to Canada, where they had their third child and created a wonderful and loving life for them and their children. We will miss her incredibly.
Private Family Service and livestream arrangements July 7th are entrusted with STeeles Memorial Chapel.
The family thanks and appreciates the wonderful support by her caregivers. They provided a quality of life that she well deserved.
