With heartfelt sadness, our family announces the peaceful passing of Mitchell James Griffiths on July 6, 2021 at Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital in his 86th year.
Beloved husband of 66 years to Sherry Griffiths.
Proud Father of David (Rose), Len (Susan), Tracy (John) and Stan.
Loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
Dedicated member of Local 46 for 70 years.
Mitch was the founder of the Pickering Panthers Jr. B hockey club. Mitch was also the founder of the De Novo Treatment Centre for the members of the construction trades.
Local 46 (936 Warden Avenue, Scarborough) is proud to celebrate along with friends and family a celebration of life for brother Mitch on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from noon to 3 p.m.
