MONK, Audrey L. (nee HALFYARD)   - July 23, 1935 - July 28, 2021

With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Audrey Louise Monk at Henley House, St. Catharines on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Monk (1991).

Dear sister of Robert (Thelma) and Bruce Halfyard, and aunt of Alan (Margo), Halfyard, Anne Taylor (James), Heather Halfyard, Gary (Jane) Halfyard, Charlene Halfyard-Byrne (Mike), Stephen and Glenn (Sandy) Halfyard, Tom and Susanne Body and special great-aunt to Ross, Graeme, Emily and Brianna and many others.

She was predeceased by her parents Rev. Levi and Audrey V. Halfyard, sister Marion Body and sisters-in-law Elizabeth and Shirley Halfyard.

Audrey grew up in Barrie and lived in Toronto and Horseshoe Valley.

Later in life she lived in St. Catharines at Royal Henley and Henley House. Music, singing, crafts, church involvement and her cats were an important part of her life. Cremation.

A service will take place at a later date.

Thanks to the kindness and compassion of the staff at Henley House.
