Shamash DavidSHAMASH, David - On Friday, July 30, 2021.

Beloved husband of Dalia Shamash.

Loving father and father-in-law of Shirley Shamash-Nevo and Amir Nevo, Iris Shamash-Feldman and Peter Feldman, Naomi Shamash-Zeligman and Todd Zeligman, Michelle Shamash-Ohayon and Jordan Ohayon, Ashley Shamash-Bartman and Adam Bartman.

Devoted grandfather of Zev, Phoenix, Gabriel, Jacob, Natalie, Logan, Brooke, Jace, Ellis, Seth, Olivia, Maya, Kylie, and Chloe.

David was a family man. He was married to his soulmate Dalia for 45 years and together they created a beautiful life for themselves and their 5 daughters and 14 grandchildren.

After immigrating to Canada from Israel, David's entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to build and grow a successful woodworking business together with his wife. He was selfless, generous, genuine, and had a strong work ethic, love for life, and endless patience. He was always proud of his daughters and raised them to be strong independent women, always encouraging them to be the most they can be.

Throughout David's 14 month battle with cancer, he courageously fought, never complained and continued to smile and laugh with his family until his last day.

David will be dearly missed by all who had the honour and privilege of knowing his warm spirit.

The family would love a comment with your favourite David story.

A family graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

Memorial donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
