Pilmer TaylorPILMER, Taylor Michael - Passed peacefully at home on August 6, 2021 with family by his side.

He was diagnosed with a brain tumour in early 2018.

Taylor leaves behind his parents Heather and Michael, and his brother Rob.

He will be dearly missed by his aunts and uncles: Fumiko Azuma and Colin Pilmer, Lorraine Hohloff, Susan and Ian Lowe-Wylde; his cousins: Caileigh (Suraj), Jamie (Deena), Briar, Connor and his grandparents Ann and Don Budge.

He is predeceased by grandparents Helen and Bob Pilmer. Taylor will also be dearly missed by his extended family.

Taylor was a graduate of St. Andrew’s College (2014) and Sir Wilfred Laurier University (BBA, 2018). His diagnosis presented in his last term of university. He chose to embrace life to the fullest and finished his studies and worked briefly at Bank of Montreal, prior to heading off to pursue his love of photography and travel.

He also made sure to fit in time to ski, golf some of the finest courses in the world, and spend lots of time with family and friends at a special place, the cottage. Taylor’s wit, creativity, sportsmanship and genuineness will be terribly missed.

Taylor was helped on his journey by an amazing group of friends, and as a family we would like to thank them for their generosity and love. We must also thank the extended team at UHN/PMH, and the generous support and caring of his neurosurgeon and palliative care leader, Dr. Mark Bernstein.

Due to Covid restrictions a private visitation and service will be held by the family.
