Rubenstein RosalynRUBENSTEIN, Rosalyn Wendy   - July 5, 1956 – August 11, 2021

Died peacefully at Hospice Vaughan, north of Toronto, following a rapid and aggressive battle with cancer.

Devoted daughter to Freda and Jack, loyal sister to Bonnie and Alan, doting aunt to Aysha and Leila, Rosalyn was much-loved by the family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many dear friends.

Principal of Rubenstein and Associates, Rosalyn was a well-respected management consultant that specialized in strategic planning, community engagement, and executive training for cultural and creative organizations in Canada and internationally.

An innovative theorist and influential practitioner, she collaborated with universities, research and training centers, and government agencies.

Rosalyn was the author of scientific papers, popular articles and training resources, and generously shared her research and expertise at conferences and public lectures globally.

An alumnus of the University of Toronto (BA, MMst), Rosalyn's early interest in history and archeology, followed by fieldwork in Egypt, Israel, and Jordan, led to a lifelong personal and professional engagement with museums and fervent passion for travel.

She treasured the arts in its many forms, from literature to film, visual art to theatre. Rosalyn also wrote poetry, loved hiking and canoeing, and always appreciated a glass of fine wine.

Cheers Roz – you will be deeply missed. Due to COVID-19, the family is having a private funeral and Shiva.

Memorial donations may be made to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, 416-946-6560 and Hospice Vaughan, 905-850-6266.
