CUCAN, Joseph - It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Cucan, on Friday, August 6, 2021.
Joseph's love and memory will be deeply cherished by his wife of 59 years, Francine, daughter Janine, son-in-law Ernie and grandchildren, Arielle, Olivia and Alex, brother John (Heather) and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his older brother Frank (Nel). Joseph will be remembered for his incredible sense of humour, quick wit, gifted story-telling, and playful spirit.
He was a world traveller who sought adventure in lands as far away as Indonesia, Australia, South America and the Pacific Islands. He was a man of deep faith, who loved God and dedicated himself to supporting the spiritual growth of others.
He generously donated his time and resources to those in need. He loved his family unconditionally and perhaps his greatest legacy was in the role of Grandpa.
He was devoted to his grandchildren, building a bond with them that cannot be broken by time or death. For his grandchildren, the word "no" did not exist and the good times were always rolling.
There was no better place than his house and no better friend than Grandpa.
A private family service has been held and interment has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice
