MILLER, Joyce (PINEL)  - August 5, 2021 After 91 spirited years, the last 36 without her husband Tom, Joyce is now at rest.

Born at home April 6, 1930 and raised in Toronto's Beaches, Joyce and Tom wed in 1954 and built a home and family in Highland Creek.

After Tom died, she treasured living at their Boshkung Lake cottage before deciding to stop feeding the ducks and deer, dodging bears and move to Holland Landing.

Scott, Leanne and Janeen will cherish Mom's stained glass, recipes, knitting, quilting and sewing creations.

Predeceased by parents Della and Stanley Pinel, brother Lawrence, sister Barbara, niece Kimberly and nephew Greg, Joyce will be missed by twin sister Audrey and her family and other nephews.

Sons-in-law Larry and Dudley and daughter-in-law Marlaine will miss her humour, losing at cards and her butter tarts.

Grandchildren Jess (Jason), Chris (Ariana), Kyle (Krysta) and Mitch (Emily) and five great-grandchildren will treasure their Nana's memory. Sincere thanks to the caring professionals who supported our Mother, including Sherine and her team and Drs. Shaqil Kassam, Lawlis and Wang.

Joyce's life will be celebrated August 21st at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., RSVP at 905-895-6631.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Stronach Cancer Centre would be a lasting and impactful way to honour Joyce's memory.
