Loschiavo FrancescoLOSCHIAVO, Francesco - Passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Antonietta Loschiavo née Perruccio.

Loving father to Michele (Elizabeth), Giuseppe (Tracy), Angela (Rob).

Proud Nonno to Francesco (Antonella), Tiffany (John), Christopher (Vanessa), Jordan (Lyndsay), Aaron and Robert and bisnonno to Dawson.

Survived by his brother Michele.

Predeceased by his siblings, Rosa, Caterina, Guiseppe, Paolo and Nazzareno.

Francesco and Antonietta immigrated to Canada in 1955, started a family and spent the rest of his life devoted to his immediate and extended family. He brought his passion for farming in the old country with him spending cherished moments in his inner-city backyard garden. Visitors always left with a bag of fresh organic vegetables.

There was no greater caregiver, spending years by his ailing wife and always present to support his loved ones.

His legacy lives on through the many that were fortunate to have been mentored by him in the art of wine making, sausage production, and finer skills of making tomato sauce.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Monday, August 16th. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Avenue West, at Dufferin Street.) on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow.

In his memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation.
