GASUSANA, Barbara Christansen (Dungo) - April 7, 1985 – August 8, 2021
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Barbara Gacusana who passed late Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her four loving children, Bea, Christel, Daniel, and Emily.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Israel, and kind mother, Evelyn.
Barbara was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada at the age of thirteen.
Barbara completed her Nursing degrees at York University and Seneca College.
She was a registered nurse at Princess Margaret Hospital.
She left behind her legacy of kindness, positivity, and courageousness.
At the age of 36 she was an only daughter to her great mother, a nurturing mother to her four kids, a loving wife, a caring daughter-in-law, a kind friend, a hardworking colleague and overall a humble human being.
She will be profoundly remembered and missed dearly by friends, family and those she impacted throughout the years.
Her memories with her family and friends will be forever cherished.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham at a time TBD. The service will take place at St. Maria Goretti Parish, 717 Kennedy Road, Scarborough at a time TBD.
