Born on March 11, 1935 in New York City, Marcia dedicated her adult life to her psychological practice and research, pioneering groundbreaking work in the fields of female sexuality and EMDR.
Marcia was a woman of great energy, and fierce independence.
She was an accomplished pianist, and a passionate patron of the arts.
She was a trusted therapist, and a trustworthy friend.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and an absolute original.
She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
