Mount TerryMOUNT, John Terence 'Terry' - Passed away peacefully in Tall Pines LTC in Brampton, Ontario on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the age of 100.

Predeceased by his wife, Norah (2014). Loving father to Maureen (Paul) and Josie (Varlen, deceased). Cherished grandfather or (GRAMPS) to his 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his relatives and friends in Canada and the United Kingdom.

A special thank you to the staff at Tall Pines LTC I Brampton Neighborhood for their excellent care, love and support.

Terry was born on October 25, 1920 to Ellen and Peter in Middlesbrough, UK. He served in the British army through World War 2. Terry moved to Canada in 1950 and worked in a foundry, managed a Clark Shoes warehouse and after coming out of retirement and at the age of 82, worked at Redknee as a handy man. This was probably his favourite job; working with young people, chatting every day, being meticulous about keeping order and cleanliness to the meeting rooms and office in general.

Terry enjoyed a variety of hobbies throughout his life. He loved fishing, golf, gardening. He enjoyed doing ceramics with his wife Norah for many years.

Visitation and funeral arrangements are entrusted with Andrews funeral home, Brampton.

In lieu of flowers donation in Terry’s name to Heart and Stroke would be appreciated.
