VELASQUEZ, Mario - Mario Velazquez, 65, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Humber River Hospital.
He was the beloved son of Juana Munante Matos and Victor Velasquez Morales. He left behind his children, Jazminn Velazquez, Cristian Velazquez, his two granddaughters, and as well as his beloved family in Peru.
Mario Velazquez was born in the City of Callao. He immigrated to Canada where he began his life and family.
Mario was known for his sense of humour and strong personality. He was known by everyone for being a hard worker and putting everyone first before him.Mario was known for dedicating himself to his work as the head chef at Piazzetta Trattoria for the last 16 years. He never missed a day for anything. He enjoyed cooking for everyone and also getting to see everyone enjoy his food.
We are absolutely heartbroken by his loss, but he will always be remembered as an amazing father, grandfather, friend and chef.
