Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in the comfort of his home.
Beloved husband of Jackie.
Loving father of Aaron and Joel, father-in-law of Andrea and Victoria, stepfather of Stephanie and Lori, and stepfather-in-law of Aaron.
Devoted grandfather of Kaitlyn, Jacob, Adric and Talia.
Dear brother of Izzy Gorlick and the late Ruth Shack.
Predeceased by his beloved daughter Rachel.
Allen was a well-respected educator for over 50 years, and will be remembered by generations of former students as an inspirational mentor. His family and loved ones will forever remember his humour, intelligence, kindness and generosity.
The service will take place on Friday, September 10, 2021.
