HANDS, Richard David - November 19, 1928 - September 10, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Hands announce his passing on September 10, 2021, at the age of 92.
A devoted family man, he leaves his beloved wife Marie, his daughter Catherine (Stephen), and his granddaughter Erin, along with cherished nieces and nephews, Susan (John), Tom, Lisa (Hadley), Charles, Janice (Georg), Karen (Shane), sister-in-law, Amelia, along with many great-nieces and nephews.
Richard's skills and professionalism as senior architectural coordinator at the University of Toronto were valued by colleagues for many years, and his kindness and generosity of spirit were appreciated by friends and family alike.
An enthusiastic traveller and appreciator of art, fine dining, theatre and sport, Richard's life was well-lived and he was well-loved.
A private funeral is scheduled, with interment at Pine Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to a charity of choice.
