Stockdale HowardSTOCKDALE, Howard Douglas   -  June 30, 1936 – September 25, 2021

Howard passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a short battle with cancer.

Survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane, his daughters Linda and Laura, sisters-in-law Audrey Stockdale, Willa Fitzpatrick (George) and brothers-in-law Thor Karlson and Paul Seymour (Jennie).

Will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Jessica, Wes, Melissa and Carter, great-grandchild Chloe and many friends.

Predeceased by siblings Jean Karlson, Walter Stockdale and Mary Sandford. Howard's career at Kodak Canada spanned 35 years. After retirement, he was able to focus on his first loves; being a sportsman, and wood carving.

Nothing gave Howard greater pleasure than introducing young people to his love for nature.

Fishing and hunting at Rabbit Lake and camping with family and friends at Cedar Lake were his greatest joys. He'll be remembered for his countless adventures, including trips to the Arctic and his love of harness racing.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date to share memories of Howie.

For those who wish, donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe, or a charity of your choice.
