FRANCH, Josephine - It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved matriarch on September 30, 2021.
Josephine slipped away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital from cancer, after a lengthy and brave fight.
She was our mother, grandmother, a warm home, a great meal and steward of our family traditions.
She is survived by her children: Elisabeth Rossi, (John Rossi), Samantha, Jasmine and Jordan; Marialba D’Oliveira, (Armand D’Oliveira), Olivia and Alexandra and by Joseph Franch, Kathryn, Sara and Bella.
We are grateful to Dr Mateya Trinkaus and her amazing team for their world class medical care and for the empathy and support they showed my mother and our family.
Visitation will be held at Dixon - Garland Funeral Home, Markham on Monday, October 4, 2021. The funeral mass will take place at St. Patrick's Parish, Markham on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 10:30 AM.
