Oki KayOKI, Kay Kikuye (Fujiwara)  -  1923 – 2020  Kay Oki passed away peacefully at home September 30, 2020.

Predeceased by husband, Jack, brothers and sisters, Fuzzy, Tamio, Sus, Ozzie, Fumi and Kiyo, survived by younger sister, Chik.

She leaves behind children, Michael, Diane and Martin, and grandchildren, Midori, Chelsea and Daisy and an extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Born in Vancouver, BC to Ai (Tsunetomi) and Tota Fujiwara, she survived the internment during WWII and moved east to Toronto where she met and married Jack.

They had many circles of friends, some they had grown up with, neighbours in Willowdale and Don Mills, and business associates from across Canada and Japan.

Kay's passions were the game of bridge, ballroom dancing, curling, entertaining at home and travelling.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was privately cremated and rests with Jack at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A memorial will be held when conditions permit.
