Rowe BarbROWE, Barbara Marie - On Saturday, October 2, 2021, Barbara, loving mother of two children, passed away at the age of 62 after a brief illness.

Barbara, “Barb” was born on March 7th, 1959, in Toronto, ON, Canada to Fred and Shirley (Knott Newman) Rowe.

For most of her life she lived in Toronto, Ontario. She was a proud Indigenous (Ojibwa) woman.

Barb loved watching the drama’s of the TV Soap “Coronation Street” and would often sing the theme song out loud about the house.

Barb was a skirt and heels woman all the way and did not subscribe to the wearing of jeans or casual wear in general. Barb loved being by the water often taking her children to the Beach when she could, she also volunteered for countless organizations including Block Parents and Girl Guides to name a few and was always front and centre at all the school fairs, she even ran as a School Trustee once and came a very close second.

Barb was known for her quick wit, her infectious laugh and her kind and compassionate spirit and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father and her mother, Shirley and her grandmother Irene Knott-Newman.

She is survived by her two children, Kevin and Veronica “Ronnie”, her brothers David and John (Sage) and her sisters, Carol Anne and Darlene, as well as her nephew Lawrence "Raven".
