HAMEL, R. Jeanne (nee TAYLER) - June 17, 1920 - September 27, 2021
Peacefully, at age 101.
WWII RCAF (WD) Veteran, University of Guelph alumni and Life Member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Dearly loved by Norah, Drew and Wendy, Paul and Lacey, and Ella.
Beloved Aunt to many Tayler and Hamel nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by Will, Melvin and Hilda, Doug and Rose.
Especially missed by her West Hill United Church family, all her skating buddies and her Community Living friends.
Many thanks to those who allowed Jeanne to live independently right up to the end.
In true Jeanne fashion, she has donated her body to the University of Toronto, Department of Anatomy. West Hill UC will lead a Celebration of Life in the near future. Or, celebrate her life in your own unique way.
Donations in her honour and her memory may be made to West Hill UC, the Nature Conservancy, the Trans Canada Trail, the Highway of Heroes, your local mental health unit or a charity of choice.
Remember: It's the dash between the dates that's important.
