Blendick OlgaBLENDICK, Olga 'Ollie' Marion (Chamelka) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Mother on October 22, 2021 at the age of 84.

The family meant the world to her and were her greatest gift. Beloved wife to the late Leonard Ernest Blendick. She was the proud and loving mother to Ken (Donna), Deb and Brian (Linda).

Her grandchildren are Jenn (Adam), Kristine (Justin), Sean (Melissa), Kasandra and Samantha (Dakota). They brought joy to her life every day and she always enjoyed hearing of all their achievements. She will also be missed by her 9 great grandchildren.

Mom enjoyed going to the Ukrainian camp in Oakville with all her family at every opportunity. There she enjoyed her heritage and had danced and played the mandolin in the pavilion.

Mom was a dedicated hockey mom and would cheer for both of her sons.  Deb would be there and between the both of them, everyone knew who they were by their extremely loud screams and cheers.

Mom was a fantastic cook and family and friends would come over for Christmas dinner to enjoy her turkey stuffing and mushroom gravy.  The turkey was second to none along with everything else.

Mom enjoyed playing cards whether it be euchre, poker and played 5 pin bowling and was in a league which she did for many years. She also enjoyed taking family vacations. She was adored and loved by all.

A family service will be held on October 25, 2021. Cremation will be taking place at a later date followed by a celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA and the Humane Society would be appreciated.
