Tourlis BarbaraTOURLIS, Barbara Diana - Age 60, peacefully passed away on October 23, 2021 surrounded by her Loved Ones.

Barbara was born on August 1, 1961 in Scarborough, Ontario. Her parents were Victor Lindorf and Patricia Lindorf. She was the younger sister of Wanda Rubinstein.

She is survived by her two sons, Dimitrios and Alexandros whom she loved dearly.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-laws, Emily and Gillian, and her brother-in-law Ted.

She was a graduate of West Hill Collegiate Institute and upon graduation took a job with the the Toronto District School Board as a school secretary. This would become her life long career, except for a brief break where she decided to travel to Greece and teach English. In this time, she met and fell in love with Theodoros Tourlis, who would eventually become her partner and father of their two boys.

Barbara was a kind and caring Mother, Sister, Daughter, Friend, and Partner. She was an amazing artist who enjoyed expressing her creativity through various crafts. She loved to shop, cook, and spend time with her beloved cat, Bella. Barbara had a heart of gold and made a positive and meaningful impact on countless people throughout her time with us. She will truly be missed.

Friends are invited to say a final good-bye and share their memories about Barbara at Heritage Funeral Home, Toronto on Sunday, October 31st from 2-4pm. Please pre-register for the time that you would like to make your visit.

Your graciousness is appreciated during this time, and In lieu of flowers we ask that donations are made to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. An organization that was dear to Barbara, and helped in the longevity of her life.
