Drozdowski StellaDROZDOWSKI, Stanislawa 'Stella' - (August 22, 1923 - October 28, 2021) - Passed away peacefully in her bed at the Post Inn Village.

Stella is survived by her son Henry, daughter-in-law Patricia and her grandchildren, Vito, Paola, Paul and David, her great-grandchildren Mariza, Anita, Vito-Roberto, Silvano and John.

She also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Stella, in her 99th year, had resided at the Post Inn for the last 6 years and had enjoyed all her time there.

The staff referred to her (along with herself) as the “Polish Princess” and were amazing looking after her almost as a second family. Especially thankful to Manjit and Melissa for all their efforts during COVID in looking after mom and keeping us in touch.

Stella survived the second world war in Poland and Germany where she met my father Bruno and had their first three children during that difficult time, sadly losing our oldest brother. Stella came to Canada in 1947 and started a new life here adding two more children to the family.

Stella was always happiest with family and friends cooking up legendary meals, growing vegetables in her garden and caring for her grandchildren.

Stella survived the loss of her child Bruno Jr, Elizabeth, Mary and finally Edward. Eddie (Edzui) was her boy and he sadly just passed last week. They are all together now.

Even through all that, Stella was always quick to smile, Singing “Somewhere over the Rainbow” and “Que Sera Sera”, thanking everyone, kissing their hand and saying “I love you” every time.

Babcia was the best in all of us and will be dearly missed. Arrangements are entrusted with Scott funeral homes, Mississauga chapel.
