DOWDALL, Vernon George Edward - Passed away on October 27, 2021.
Vern grew up in Cobourg, Ontario, the second eldest of four brothers, including Eugene, Marvin and Harley. He was the son of William Dowdall and Eleanor Gordon.
He spent most of his professional life working in the trucking industry as a dealer development manager, first for Mercedes Benz/ Freightliner, and then Kenworth Trucks.
He travelled extensively throughout Canada and the United States in this capacity, and he enjoyed this opportunity to see new places and meet new people.
His passing is preceded by his parents, and his brothers Eugene and Marvin. He is survived by his longtime partner Maria Medieros, sons Vernon (Michelle) Dowdall and Sean (Bevin Sekora) Dowdall, grandchildren Savannah, Rider and Genesis, and brother Harley.
In accordance with Vern’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. His ashes will be scattered at Jack’s Lake.
