MALESZYK, Peter Adam   - It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of our beloved husband, father, and uncle: on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the age of 73.

Beloved husband of Halina, whom he fondly called Tweety, and father of Greg and Daniel.

Born in Ostrow Lubeski, he immigrated to Canada in 1963 together with his parents, older sister Anna and twin sister Teresa. He lost his brother Marian in 2019.

He worked for MacDonnell Douglas, Spar Aerospace, and DeHavilland where he developed his passion for aviation. Peter retired from DeHavilland in 2009 where he was a Development Mechanic for 34 years. He made lifelong bonds with those whom he worked with and maintained contact after retirement.

A visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Eugene de Mazenod Church, 1252 Steeles Ave. W., Brampton.  Due to the restrictions still in place surrounding COVID-19, attendance at the visitation and service is limited. Registration is required.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.
