Dawe MarionDAWE, Marion Louise   -  October 8, 1930 – October 31, 2021

Peacefully, on Sunday, October 31, 2021, Marion Louise Dawe entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

She was born on October 8, 1930, one of eight daughters and four sons born to Peter Daniel Rothman and Beatrice (nee Harmston) Rothman.

Marion was predeceased by Vern her beloved husband of 69 years, her cherished children Patti (Bruce, predeceased), Glenn (Debbie) and Barbara and her five grandchildren and their spouses and nine great-grandchildren.

She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren/great-grandchildren/great-great-grandchildren.

Marion was predeceased by her 4 brothers and six of her sisters.

Marion was born and raised in Toronto and was a keen athlete. She loved most sports but was especially fond of her Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays.

Marion was passionate about her family and was an actively involved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful homemaker and her children benefitted from her many skills and talents as they grew and developed and became responsible adults in their own families.

Along with Dad, she was a sponsor for the Young Peoples and College and Careers group at Willowdale Baptist Church for many years.

Memories have come flooding in about those days as members of those groups learn of Mom's passing. Marion was also a true servant to her Lord.

She was always willing to share her relationship with Jesus everywhere she went. Marion will be well remembered for her generosity, kindness and love.

We will miss her ready smile and wicked sense of humour!

Marion's funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Willowdale Baptist Church or Rocky Ridge Ranch would be appreciated.

Absent from the body Present with the Lord We Love You.
