Nolan JosephNOLAN, Joseph Wayne   -  Joseph died unexpectedly at his home in Hamilton, Ontario on October 27, 2021, he was 67.

Father of Evan Nolan (Michelle).

Son of the late Stan and Rose Nolan, brother of the late Rod Thibault (Eileen), late Katie Lariviere (late Albert), late Rita Tice (late Joe), late Rick (Lorraine), late Tom (Barb), late Arlene Barry (late Charlie), Barb Nolan, late Terry Nolan (late Marie), Ted (Sandra), Steve (Colleen), Janice (Shawn), and many nieces and nephews.

Member of the Garden River First Nation.

Joe was a lifelong learner, graduating from Sault College in Advertising Art, then as a mature student from Laurentian University in Political Science. He worked for the Department of Indian Affairs then later the Assembly of First Nations.

Joe was a friendly person with a great sense of humour.

He was an avid follower of current events. His desire for social justice prompted letters to newspapers and politicians.

Joe was very proud of his son and his brothers and sisters.

He will be mourned by family and friends.

Cremation will take place in Toronto with a burial service on November 13th at Garden River First Nation.
