\Tom passed away, happily surrounded by loving family at home, after a long bout with Parkinson's.
Tom leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years Betty, his son Thomas Jr., daughter-in-law Karen and grandchildren Thomas III and Amber.
Tom also leaves his stepdaughter Cynthia and her sons Jordan and Gabriel.
Tom had a distinguished and impressive career that included Ontario Deputy Minister, Vice President Admin. of Ryerson University, Vice President of Centennial College, Bencher of The Law Society of Upper Canada, Chairman of the Canada Employment and Immigration Advisory Council, and a Certified Mediator and Arbitrator, among many, many other things.
Tom was committed to Community Service and the winner of multiple awards including an African Canadian Achievement Award, and Trinidad's coveted Chaconia Gold Medal.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Parkinson Canada or the Ontario Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation.
