Moloney MaryMOLONEY, Mary Janet - (March 6, 1943 - November 16, 2021) - Mary passed peacefully with her children by her side, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.

She is survived by her children Siobhan Chivers (Duncan Chivers), Bryce Moloney (Daniela Moloney), and her grandchildren Zoe & Tighe Chivers, and Connor & Harper Moloney.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Danny, and her parents John and Molly Bryce.

Mary was a proud graduate of the Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing, and later in life was a key figure in the Progressive Conservative Party’s fundraising arm, PC Canada Fund.

Mary will be remembered as a loving mother who was devoted to her family. She was vivacious, funny and friendly, a compassionate and caring friend, and someone who found injustice of any kind intolerable. She spent summers in her youth with her siblings Nancy, David and Kathy at ‘Manadaka’, the family cottage located in Pointe au Baril.

Anyone who met Mary never forgot her. She was a bright light in the lives of those around her. She was a strong but gentle soul, and she will be dearly missed.

The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Memory & Company as well as Maple Health Centre LTC for their compassionate care over the past few years.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with Kane-Jerrett funeral homes.
