SLATER, Blanche Winnifred (nee ADAMS) - Blanche passed away peacefully, at Castleview Wychwood Towers Long Term Care, Toronto, on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 102.
Cherished daughter of the late Mary Adams (Wainman) and the late G. Sherman Adams.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald, her son Thomas, and by her siblings Douglas, Frances, George, Marianne, Kathleen and John (Jack).
She will be greatly missed by her sister Alice Luce, her son Frederick, daughter-in-law Anna Todorovich, and her grandchildren Alexander, Evan and Justin.
In her working years, Blanche was a public school teacher with a special interest in the primary grades.
Never one to rest, Blanche had a sense of duty to her family and worked hard right up until her last few years.
Due to COVID-19, a private family funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20th, at 2:30 p.m.
Interment at Birr United Cemetery.
