Heffron JamesHEFFRON, James   - It is with great sadness that the family of James Joseph Heffron, 80, of Milton, Ontario, announce his passing on December 2, 2021, after a long battle with dementia and diabetes.

He passed peacefully, surrounded by family and holding the hand of his loving wife Pat.

James was born on July 21, 1941 to Elmer and Catherine Heffron in Toronto.

After graduating from De La Salle College, James attended the University of Toronto. For 25 years he was employed by the Oshawa Group Limited as Controller and The Ontario Produce Company as Vice President and Controller.

After retiring in 1998, James enjoyed spending time with his family, including his seven grandchildren.

James is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pat Heffron (nee Quinn); his children, James (Kendra), Grant (Lani) and Kevin (Anna); his grandchildren, Owen, Lincoln, Jasper, Damian, Kyle, Charles and Lillian; his siblings, John (Anne), Gary (Jeannie), Patricia (Robert), Kathleen (Diane), Thomas (Claudia), Mary and Joseph (Eva); his brothers-in-law, Tony (Ruth) and Brian (Carol); and his numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Elmer Heffron and mother Catherine Heffron (nee Hingston).

Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home, Milton, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, proof of DOUBLE VACCINE STATUS needs to be provided before entering the Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian burial to take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 139 Martin St., Milton, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 11 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made in James' memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Diabetes Canada or The Willow Foundation (Allendale).
