ENGLISH, Catherine (Carrene) Irene (nee LANG) - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, Ontario at the age of 79.
Carrene was predeceased by her son, John David.
She is survived by her husband Dennis, her daughter Jennifer and son Michael (Lillian), her grandsons Jonathan (Heather) and William, and her brother John Barron (Reni) and sister Anita Tootsie (John).
Carrene was a nursing graduate of St. Michael's College in Toronto and spent her working life in healthcare.
She retired with her husband to Mindemoya and was active in the community supporting various organizations.
A Requiem Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge St. in Aurora at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021. A reception will follow at the Thompson Funeral Home, Aurora ON. Covid-19 protocols will be in place.
