SCHAFFRATH, Irmagard (Irma) Maria (nee DWORAZIK) - August 3, 1937 – December 6, 2021
It is with heavy hearts our family announces the passing of our mother - Irma, on December 6, 2021.
Irma leaves behind many who loved her, including her children Beatrice (Greg), Roy (Mary), Harold (Sheila).
Treasured by her grandchildren Billy (Heather), Michael (Ashley), Sara, Alex (Lindsay), Kristen (Brett), Kendra (Zach) and her great-grandchildren, Blake, Kole, Della, Gavin, Abby, Mateo and Adriano.
Irma's memory also will be fondly treasured by her sister Brigette in Toronto, along with Helga, Barbel, Ruthild in Germany. Irma leaves behind her many nieces and their families.
Irma is now with our beloved dad, Georg. Irma was born and raised in Germany, arrived in Canada in 1956 to be with her sister Brigitte.
Here Irma married Georg. Irma's love was to travel and shop. Irma and Georg founded Gator Custom Windows Ltd. Irma was a conscientious, caring, hard-working woman, who taught us to enjoy life through family, friends, travel, work, to enjoy life to the fullest. Irma's enthusiasm for life, energy, outgoing wit, honesty (sometimes brutal), will be remembered and missed by her family and friends.
