THOMPSON, David Arthur - Peacefully passed away, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, in his 77th year.
A native of Jamshedpur - Bihar, he was the son of the late James Thompson and late Mary Thompson.
Father of Wayne (Tracey) Thompson, Andrea Thompson, and Faye Thompson.
David will be missed dearly by his siblings, late Loretta (Carmo) Fernandes of Kingston, late Reginald (Lorraine) Thompson of Brampton, late Duncan (Edith) Thompson of Hamilton, and William (Patricia) Thompson of Toronto.
Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 13, 2021 at Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A Christian Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (490 Days Rd.), with cremation to follow. Interment will take place on Wednesday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. The family respectfully requests that only fully vaccinated guests attend in person, vaccine passports will be checked upon entry to Visitation and Mass. If you could please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to service time, it would be appreciated.
As per provincial health regulations, masks must be worn.
Friends desiring, may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of David.
