SILVER, Myrna Hurwich - It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the death of our beloved Mother, Myrna Hurwich Silver (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on December 9, 2021.
She was loved by all who knew her & survived by her husband Dr. Harvey Silver; her son Michael Hurwich and his wife Natalya, her daughter Linda Hurwich and her husband Marshall, her stepsons Mike Silver and his partner Naomi, as well as Seth Silver and his wife Sue.
Myrna is also survived by her grandchildren, Sarah, Adam, Lauren, Emily, Stephanie, Jonathan, Joshua, and her step-grandchildren, Daniel, Jackie, Lexie, and Jeremy. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Title.
Myrna’s family & friends were everything to her & she was the glue that held them all together. She had a natural talent for piano playing & entertaining.
She bravely battled many illnesses over the years, but ovarian cancer ultimately prevailed.
She will be greatly missed.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sunnybrook Hospital, North York General, to LHIN & Temmy Letner, & all the wonderful doctors, nurses & public & private PSW’s & caregivers who so diligently & lovingly cared for her right to the end.
Arrangements are entrusted with Steeles Memorial Chapel.
