Reinholdt BarbaraREINHOLDT, Barbara Doreen (nee YOUNG)   - In her 86th year, Barbara passed away peacefully on December 14, 2021, after a short battle with acute leukemia.

By her side were her beloved daughters, Karen Cooper (Bob) and Bobbi (Guy Pollen).

She was a loving grandmother to Kevin (Jaana), Kate (Will), Laura and Sean, and she was especially proud of her great-grandchildren, Liam, Owen and newborn Audrey.

Predeceased by her sisters, Roberta Hunt and Margaret Coles.

Barbara devoted her working life to the teaching profession and especially enjoyed her time as an elementary school teacher with the TDSB.

Best described by her family and many longtime friends as generous, cultured, and witty – she always enjoyed going to the theater, movies and symphony.

She also valued the many special relationships she established within her community at 1425 Bayview Avenue, where she could be found engaged in weekly Euchre games or socializing with the neighbours.

Always courteous and charming, she had a tremendous memory for detail, and could usually answer most (if not all) of the trivia questions posed to her.

Visitation for Barbara will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto on Sunday, December 19th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. (Please note: masks are mandatory and proof of vaccine with valid identification must be presented before entering the funeral home).

The family recognizes the many pandemic challenges so a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation – Cancer, https://southlake.ca/foundation.
