SALIVAN, Norma Anne (nee SIMPSON)    - Norma was born on April 26, 1936, passed away peacefully, at the age of 85, on December 13, 2021 at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill.

Predeceased by her husband Donald and daughter Dina.

She will be greatly missed by her son Gregg, grandchildren Grant (fiancé Kyla), Kirsten (partner Mackenzie) Aidan, and the many friends and family who will cherish her memory.

Beloved mother, grandmother, wife and friend, Norma was born and raised in Leaside where she met her husband Don of 49 years at a local dance.

She followed in her father Norman's footsteps, working in her early years for the Bell Telephone Company.

She would go on to raise her children Gregg and Dina, in Willowdale while working as Salivan Landscape's first administrator, contributing to the early establishment of the company.

Norma's passions included cottaging on Kennisis Lake with her family and wintering in Sarasota, FL, where she loved painting with oils and water colors.

She also enjoyed volunteering her time at Markham Stouffville Hospital.

In honor of her spirit and in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations to either the Alzheimer Society of Canada, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or The Salvation Army would be appreciated.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Spring of 2022 when Norma will be laid to rest with Don.
