GRELLA, Giuseppina - With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Giuseppina Grella announces the passing of a beloved wife, mother and Nonna on Monday December 13, 2021 at the age of 83.
Born on November 13, 1938 in Gesuiti, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy to Carlo & Concetta.
Forever in the heart of her loving and devoted husband, Michele. Loving mother to Carlo (Lucia) and Tommaso. Beloved Nonna to Alessia and Joseph. Survived by her adoring sister Anna Maria and predeceased by her brother Franco.
Giuseppina will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her many family and friends.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Giuseppina, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Autism Speaks.
Due to Giuseppina’s stroke, she spent the last year and a half not being able to speak anymore. Her way of showing love and affection, was through blowing endless kisses. To honour her, instead of hugs and kisses, we will be blowing kisses to each other, to show our sign of respect and love and affection to the family.
