Huxtable DonaldHUXTABLE, Donald Carl   - 1927 - 2021  It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Carl Huxtable on December 10, 2021, with his family by his side.

Don is survived by his wife of 70 years, Helen, his children Sue Huxtable, Dave Huxtable (Liz) and Jane Spencer (Scott), grandchildren Niki, Kole, Kate, Kurtis, Derek and Brenton and great-grandchildren Kayden, Mason, Lochlan, Brody and Mason.

Don was an active part of the Stouffville community since 1956.

He was a lifetime member of the Stouffville Lions Club as well as President in 1967.

He was the MC for the annual ice shows for the Stouffville Skating Club for many years.

He will be fondly remembered by many for his 34-year involvement with Music Mania mostly on stage and then behind the scenes in the later years.

He was always positive and energetic with a passion for camping, canoeing and windsurfing but alpine skiing was his greatest passion which he enjoyed from his teenage years into his early 90s.

The Celebration of Life for the late Don Huxtable, originally scheduled for the end of April, is being postponed due to the rising number of COVID cases. A new date will be set when it is safer to do so.
