Jenkins HenryJENKINS, Henry (Harry)  - It is with great sadness, we share the passing of Harry Jenkins in his 95th year on December 17, 2021.

The loving husband of the late Maureen (nee Farrell) and dedicated father to Barry (late Gloria), Wendy (Dave), and Gail (Tony).

Proud grandfather of Kerry (Nicolas), Amy, Alexander (Crystal Anne), Andrew (Lindsay), Christopher (Debra), Caitlin and great-grandfather of Henry, Otis, Nolan, Luke, Caleb and William.

Originally from Ballymena, Northern Ireland, Harry moved to Canada in his early twenties and soon built a life with Maureen.

He was a dedicated employee of the Toronto Star and an active member in the Leaside Toronto community; be it at Leaside United church, ball diamonds or Memorial Gardens ice rink.

Harry had a uniquely frank and humorous way of expressing himself, endlessly amusing to those who knew him.

While he readily shared his opinions and convictions he was always interested hearing those of others.

Proud of his Irish heritage, he maintained that connection through his lifetime membership in the Grand Orange Lodge of Canada. His kind soul will never be forgotten by all those that loved him, his many nieces, nephews, friends in Canada, Ireland, England and Australia.

Family receiving friends on Wednesday, December 29th, 2-5 p.m. at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough. At visitation please provide proof of vaccination status.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
