Nichols CraigNICHOLS, Craig Robert Nichols   -  Craig was born on December 5, 1959, to Doris and Bob Nichols, in Toronto, Ontario.

He passed away on December 29, 2023, after a very sudden decline in his health.

He was a hard worker starting as a paper boy for the Toronto Star. His most notable workplaces include Sam The Record Man, CKMS, BENT, UniLever and Metrolinx. He was also a director on the board for Equity Credit Union.

He sadly did not get to enjoy his retirement years.

Craig earned his Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Combinatorics and Optimization from the University of Waterloo.

He was a Canadian Beer Judge and won multiple beer awards. His brilliant ideas included the creation of the infamous Too Hot croquet classic, home beer brewing, love of golf, horse racing, music and movies, sciences, and animals, travel, fine foods, and fine wines.

He was a most amazing man and his biggest love was in raising his daughter Heather to be the fabulous person she is today. Craig is survived by his common law spouse, Maureen; his daughters, Heather and Nora; his mother, Doris and his sister, Carol. He was a beloved uncle to Zack and Alannis and is fondly remembered by many cousins. Craig was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Craig Nichols would be appreciated by the family, supporting Cardiovascular Surgery, at UHN Foundation. Please visit UHNfoundation.ca/tribute .
