It is with profound sadness that the family of Dave Darrigo announce his passing on March 22, 2024, at the age of 69 years.
He will be missed by his siblings, Antoinetta Blakelock, Lisa (Frank) Ruggiero, and Emilio (Barb) Darrigo; and his nephews, nieces, and great-nephew and great-nieces.
Dave was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Marguerite Darrigo.
Born in 1954 in Toronto to first-generation Italian-Canadian parents. Dave grew up fascinated by 1960s pop culture in all forms— comics, TV, film and novels.
At an early age, he began to enjoy and study 1930s/40s radio shows and pulp magazine fiction.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to his good friend, Ron Hobbs, and health advocate, Marilyn, who went far and beyond in making life easier for Dave during his health challenges.
He will be cremated at Aftercare. There will be notice of a Celebration of Life in days to come.
