Cromar FredCROMAR, Fred  -  Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Lindsay Ross Memorial Hospital, at the age of 91.

Greeted lovingly in Heaven by his wife, Gladys; and his son, Steven.

Dearly missed by his daughter, Karen (Gord); and his grandchildren, Leah, Jake and Riley. Lovingly remembered by all friends and family.

We will truly miss hearing all his stories about his many trips and wonderful long life he lived.

Fred enjoyed his many years at Toronto Hydro, where he met lifelong friends and golfing buddies.

He had many pleasant times meeting friends walking at centennial park with his beloved shelties. As a father he instilled a love of nature in his children, spending many happy times canoeing and camping.

The family would like to thank the staff of Adelaide Place Retirement Community in Lindsay for being so kind and caring during Fred's short time there.

Donations can be made to "The Friends of Algonquin" charity to help support the great outdoor space Fred loved so much.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 11 a.m.
