HOBSON, Leigh Susan (nee TURNER)  - August 8, 1950 - September 2, 2016

Passed away peacefully with loved ones at her side on Friday, September 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with early onset Alzheimer's.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband David and their daughters, Shannon (Harry) and Kelly (Andrew).

Her brothers, Terry (Teresa) and Lynn and father, Fred (Holsey) Turner.

Loving Nana to James, Gabriel, Marleigh and Caleb.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 9th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Ferguson's Funeral Home, Meaford, ON. Interment will follow on Saturday, September 10th at 1:00 p.m., Lavender Cemetery, Creemore, ON.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Meaford Long Term Care Centre for their compassion and support during her stay.

Those who so desire may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Owen Sound Branch.

Andrew Augustine DUANE

On Monday, April 25, 2016, 'Gus', surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year. He was born in Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland in 1924. He flew in World War II with the RAF and immigrated to Canada in 1946. As one of twelve children, he is survived by his sister Eileen Hickey. Devoted husband to Dr. Vera Solowska for 60 years. Loving father of Helen (Marc Carere), Tom (Anne) and Peg (Tom Best). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Emily, Andrew, Dominique, Luke, Jeff, Richard, Melanie, Amy, Colin, Jenna and his great-grandchildren Anna Bella, Sophia, Cosmo and Kiana. He was always a mentor and loving advisor to his children, their peers and his grandchildren. On May 2nd, friends may visit at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd.
